EASY INSTALLATION

The Xantrex GT Series Inverters make life easier for installers of solar power systems. It\'s simple design and rugged IP54 rated enclosure make for a reliable and neat outdoor installation. Product mounting is simple with an easy to install back mounting plate. A quick and uniform installation for multiple inverters can be created allowing symmetry between units.

EXCEPTIONAL THERMAL PERFORMANCE

The GT Series deisgn is suited to high heat environments with it\'s large aluminium heat sink to keep it\'s electronics cool in even the hottest climates. The power rating of the Xantrex inverters are:

GT 2.8 model is rated up to 50ûC of constant AC power
GT 5.0 model is rated up to 40ûC of constant AC power

Xantrex GT-Series inverters also provide an easy method of maintenance and service. With no fan, there are no parts to replace, and with the heat sink visible to the front, simply clean out all the dirt and insects (mud wasps etc) with a broom on a regular basis.

HIGH LEVEL PV ENERGY HARVEST

Engineered to make the most of a PV grid tie system investment, the GT Series provides high power conversion efficiency, excellent thermal performance, and rapid Maximum Power Point Tracking. Regular efficiencies of around 96% are available from both GT-Series inverters.

SIMPLE INVERTER DISPLAY

Xantrex GT inverters come standard with a backlit 16-character two line Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Useful for troubleshooting and system feedback, the LCD provides a variety of information including:

Daily and lifetime energy production
PV array voltage and current
Mains voltage and frequency
Time online selling today
Inverter fault messages
Two installer customisable screens (or two installer screens easily customised)

Using the XanbusTM communication in connection with the CAT5 Ethernet cables, each inverter display will report the output of the entire system in addition to individual inverter output.

STANDARD COMMUNICATIONS

The Xantrex GT Series offers an isolated RS232 port and two Xanbus RJ45 communication ports. There are no additional communication ports or cards needed to connect a PC. The LCD can be used simultaneously, even when a PC is connected to the RS232 port. Xantrex offers the GT Solar Inverter Viewer software, which can be downloaded from our Web site. GT View is an exceptional program that allows you to view all the performance details of your solar system over an entire day, down to recording intervals well below 10 seconds; this provides the most reliable method of fault finding in any solar system.
